Samsung Galaxy S6 vs. iPhone 6 review leaves little room for competition for the S6, according to Trusted Reviews. Rumors abound that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is one of the best smartphones on the market.
KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo was quoted as saying by Yahoo Finance that the Samsung Galaxy S6 along with its sidekick, the S6 Edge, are exceeding sales estimates.
The trouble is Apple's A9 orders are from the South Korean electronics maker and now that the S6 is selling like "hotcakes," the Cupertino, California firm is wondering if Samsung will give its S6 priority over the next generation iPhone - the iPhone 6.
According to Kuo, Samsung projects its shipment guidance for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge by a 40% increase to about 55 million units. This figure is up from the intitial estimate of 35-40 million devices. The KGI analyst said in the note that the biggest driver for raise in sales is the curved edge variant Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
"The success of the Samsung Galaxy S6 range is surprising for two reasons: Both phones are expensive and are up against record-breaking iPhone 6 and 6 Plus sales. And the Galaxy S6's predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S5 missed sales projections by miles in large part because the iPhone 6 blew it out of the water," Yahoo reported.
