"The Legend of Zelda" was previously slated for an E3 2015 release but it has been pushed back in order to make the ultimate "Zelda" game.

"'The Legend of Zelda' game for Wii U is no longer targeted as a 2015 release. Rather than sticking to a specific schedule, the team wants to make this the most complete and the best game it can possibly be," a Nintendo spokesperson confirmed.

"The new launch timing has not yet been determined. Because we'd like to focus on developing the game, we aren't planning on showing it at this year's E3, where we will be highlighting games launching in 2015. We will let you know when we're ready to share more specifics."

Eiji Aonuma, "Legend of Zelda" producer, also said that a Wii U version of the game is not their top priority for them as of the moment. The team reportedly discovered a lot of new possibilities for the game which, in turn, forced them to reconsider their timeline and priorities.

"So, I must apologize to you all that were expecting the game by year's end, but we are no longer making a 2015 release our number one priority. Instead, our priority is to make it the most complete and ultimate 'Zelda' game," Aonuma said.

An image showing a StreetPass user being able to play "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3D" has been making quite the buzz for the fans of the game. Those who attended the "Zelda Symphony" concert in Dussledorf, Germany opened their 3DS and were met with a StreetPass'd Mii who claimed to have played "Twilight Princess 3D."

However, the alleged hacked picture was discovered to be a hoax by TaDavidID and ChrisX930. "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess 3D" only existed as a mere title in the hacked 3DS.
