The third DLC pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" has recently been released and it features the three most powerful fighters from the "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" movie.
Goku and Vegeta will join the "DBX" roster as playable characters with their Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS) ability to transform. Golden Frieza, as seen in the film, is also featured in the "Xenoverse" lineup.
It is still unconfirmed whether all the members of the "Frieza Race" will be able to transform to their Golden state or if it is limited to the iconic villain. There are still no announcements whether "DBX" players' custom characters will also be able to transform to the Super Saiyan God or SSGSS form.
Additional characters such as Jaco the Galactic Patrolman and Old Kai will also be included in the game's expanding list of Masters. "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" will feature five new Parallel Quests, 13 new skills, 7 new Z-souls as well as Gohan's green tracksuit as shown in the "Resurrection of F" movie.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse" is available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. The third expansion of the game is expected to hit PSN, Steam and Xbox Live in the next few weeks and will be released in Japan for all platforms soon.
The game was recently launched last February and has already sold over 2 million copies since. An estimated 1.5 million copies were sold in the last month as well. "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" premiered on more than 600 theaters in Japan last Apr. 18 and an English version of the film is set for release in the upcoming months.
Bandai Namco is distributing a free add-on for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse." The freebie comes in the form of Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta's latest armor set. The content can be gained through a platform-specific promotional code on the game's website.
Although, the code initially only worked for an imported copy of "DBX," Bandai Namco has confirmed that they will also release the free DLC in North America. It will be featured in the third DLC pack for the game.
