"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" details have been revealed in an interview by Bandai Namco Entertainment America with CyberConnect2 CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama.

While the "Storm" games have been published for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before, Matsuyama confirmed that they will also be bringing the game to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam.

He also revealed that the game's battle system will be renewed. The biggest change was made to the Leader Change system. Previously, the team consisted of the main character and two other supports but now all three characters can be used by the player and are able to fight fluidly with the updated feature. Moreover, each character has the ability to use Ultimate Jutsus and Awakenings.

"I'm always asked whether there's going to be a boss battle and my answer to that this time [is] yes," Matsuyama revealed about the game's Story Mode.

"With the manga series finished, I'm planning to showcase up until the climax of the series with a level of super-animation unlike anything before, so please do look forward to it... The boss battle is just ridiculously over the top!"

CyberConnect2's president also confirmed that they are developing extra features to extend the longevity of the game even after players have cleared the game. Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Hinata will be making their appearance in the game but Hyuga Hanabi, who is Hinata's younger sister, will be the one to take the stage.

"So we're planning to use her smaller stature to make her into a character that can move up in spurts, is speedy and able to unleash quick, Gentle Fist moves," the CEO stated.

Hiroshi Matsuyama admitted that Naruto and Sasuke can be teamed up and unleash their own Combination Ultimate Jutsu. In "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," Ultimate Jutsus, Awakenings and Drives are not separated so players can use them to their liking.

"So even if the manga series have ended, it still feels like Naruto is still continuing to expand its world," Matsuyama concluded.

"So with that said, together with everyone's support, we want to help promote and have fun with Naruto through our game as well. 'Storm 4' is planned for release in fall. I'm looking forward to all your support!"
