Add to that the piling up of products (concealer on top of foundation on top of moisturizer), mixed with facial oil and sweat. This can cause or trigger acne, something that no woman wants. Clean brushes with a mild shampoo then air dry.

Women have their makeup and men have their shaving creams. All products applied on the skin can undeniably affect it. Ongoing studies have shed light to the truth behind most commercial skin products- they mostly contain toxic ingredients. Whether it be parabens or silicon, everything from anti-perspirant to lotion has been found to contain these toxins. Eventually accumulating these toxins can make you ten times more susceptible to health problems such as thyroid conditions and even cancer. Be sure to be knowledgeable about what's toxic and what's not, read the label, and start choosing wisely. There are many natural and/or organic alternatives to these conventional skin products.
