Jennifer Aniston will reportedly be part of “Mean Girls 2,” which is actually more of a spinoff of the original film. According to multiple online news sources, the actual title of the upcoming female-driven comedy is going to be “Mean Moms.”

This is not Aniston’s first time to work with director Sean Anders, as they have already worked together in “Horrible Bosses 2.” As expected, the movie, which will reportedly be under New Line Cinema, will be pretty much in the same vein as the “Mean Girls” flick that was a blockbuster in 2004, except with an adult cast.

According to the synopsis that was posted on IMDB, “Mean Girls 2” will be about a happily married woman with two children, who moves from a small town in America to a more high end suburb. There, she is introduced to a more cut-throat type of parenting, with everything seemingly being turned into a competition.

Just like the film that Lindsay Lohan had previously starred in, “Mean Girls 2 “ is based on a book franchise that was written by Rosalind Wiseman, entitled, “Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads: Dealing with the Parents, Teachers, Coaches, and Counselors Who Can Make – or Break – Your Child’s Feature.”

Sadly, there has been no confirmatory information on what kind of role Aniston will be playing. Plus, Yibada has also confirmed that none of the main cast of “Mean Girls,” such as Lohan and Rachel McAdams will be returning to reprise their roles in the next film.

“Mean Girls 2” or “Mean Moms” will begin to film this summer and will be produced by Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot, and Jill Messick. The script was written by John and Anders Morris, who have also worked together back then for “Hot Tub Time Machine,” “Dumb and Dumber To,” and “We’re the Millers.”
