It has been previously reported that Chris Pratt news just might include his extended feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU, that is outside of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise.

Although it remains unclear which specific Marvel storylines Star-Lord will show up in, the “Parks and Recreation” actor did confirm that he was going to be featured in a couple more Marvel movies.

“I am tied to doing three more, or five more – ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ or whatever it is, you know – two more ‘Guardians’ plus another couple,” Pratt admitted to GQ, according to Breathe Cast.

It must be noted, however, that “Guardians of the Galaxy” has two more sequels under its belt. With Pratt’s statement of “three more” or “five more,” fans have started to speculate that it is highly possible for the actor to appear in other Marvel movies.

As Slash Film has pointed out, it is highly likely that “Avengers 3: Infinity War” is going to feature Star-Lord, primarily because of the Power Stone. Thanos, who has been confirmed to be the villain of the third installment of the “Avengers” franchise, will scour the galaxy to finally get his hands on the Power Stone to make the set complete.

The report also mentioned that another movie where Pratt will possibly be a part of is “Inhumans,” which will hit theaters in 2019. This particular movie will be showcasing a group of super-humans that were created by Kree, Ronan’s race from “GOTG.”

Chris Pratt news may also include his appearance in “Captain Marvel” in 2018. Captain Marvel is one particular character who has had quite an extensive contact with the “Guardians,” based on the source material.

“Guardians of the Galaxy 2” has already been scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017. With regards to when Pratt would like to retire from his role as Star-Lord, he only answered, “I think I would do it. And then, three months later, I would be tired of bird hunting and I would be, like, ‘…Guardians 10?’”
