More and more specs rumors about the alleged iPhone 7, along with speculations about its release date are circulating online.

A new concept art was recently released and it had tech junkies talking.  Apart from the notable improvements, the iPhone 7 concept looks a little bit like Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge.

"It is notable that the concept device features an edge-to-edge screen flanked by metal, which instantly brings comparisons with the aforementioned Apple smartwatch, even though the layout is slightly different," Value Walk reported. "And the concept in question also suggests that Apple could have some nifty tricks up its sleeve in order to ensure that the display screen of the device remains at the optimum size."

"As has been suggested by numerous sources previously, the concept in question suggests that Apple could eliminate the Touch ID Home button from the device completely. This would enable the consumer electronics giant to reduce the size of the overall iPhone unit, while still maintaining the same screen size and Home button functionality within the device."

If new reports are to be believed, Apple fans will have a lot to be excited about as the new flagship phone due to be released this year will have some major upgrades.

"According to Suva, the iPhone 7 might feature higher-resolution displays than current models, which could match existing 2K displays that are available on Android devices." BGR noted.

"Furthermore, the iPhone 7 will likely have a camera that's at least as good as Samsung's camera on the Galaxy S6, especially when it comes to aperture size. More interestingly, Suva says the iPhone 7 could have two rear cameras, a feature that would not only let you take 3D pictures and video, but also enable other work related features and services."

"One other interesting iPhone 7 feature would be a higher-capacity NAND memory module (256GB). The 2016 iPhone could also be waterproof, a feature that's also available on some Android handsets today."
