'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Release Date Delayed Due To Spin-Off Series 'Tokyo Ghoul: Jack'? Fans Fear Cancellation Is Inevitable

Fans are eagerly awaiting season 3 updates on the TV series "Tokyo Ghoul" but no news on release date has been made available so far. A possible delay is now speculated as a result of the development on the spinoff series "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack." Fear of cancellation looms on the horizon.

Latest reports reveal that while there is much clamor for the return of "Tokyo Ghoul" for season 3, release date details still hasn't been officially announced. There hasn't been news on season 3 development either. This baffles fans worldwide and casts even a darker shadow for those thinking that the series could meet a much horrifying end --- cancellation.

Cancellation rumors have spurred following spin-off news, specifically the abundance of information on the development for "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack." It has recently been reported that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 release date will follow the premiere of the spin-off series "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack," speculated to come out this month. "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 release date has then been rumored to be delayed to next year.

When-will revealed the spin-off series plot and reported that "'Tokyo Ghoul: Jack' revolves around two characters from the main series, namely Kishou Arima and Taishi Fura. The two met each other when they got together to investigate the death of Taishi's friend by the hands of a ghoul. Eventually, Taishi follows into Arima's footsteps and joins the Commission of Counter Ghoul, which is the federal agency whose main goal is to investigate ghoul related crimes."

There has also been speculation that come "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 release date and granted that there will not be cancellation, the next chapter could focus on the manga's sequel "Tokyo Ghoul: Re." This means that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 could "revolve around Kaneki who is now an amnesiac and has a new identity of Haise Sasaki, the leader of a special unit of investigators at the Commission of Counter Ghoul called Quinx Squad."

The same report continued, "All the members of that unit underwent similar surgeries as him, allowing them to obtain the special abilities of ghouls in order to fight them, but still being able to live as normal humans."
