While fans speculate the next adventure of Elizabeth Shaw and David and their search for the Engineers, leaked information reveals "Prometheus 2" plot details that will be more than the archeologist and the android, even exceeding far beyond the xenomorphs.
It is exactly 2 years since audiences first met David and Elizabeth Shaw and now, more news for "Prometheus 2" has been unleashed! While there has been discussion online about the sequel happening on the Engineers' planet, leaked details reveal that there will be more to "Prometheus 2" than a new location.
According to Scified, while of course the sequel will see the return of Noomi Rapace (Elizabeth Shaw) and Michael Fassbender (David), "Prometheus 2" will not entirely focus on the archeologist and android.
The source to the site reportedly leaked that "The movie will not be based largely on Shaw and David shenanigans aboard the Juggernaught but there will be some screen time devoted to Shaw and David during the trip but not actually interacting as such on the ship. As Shaw will be incapacitated for the most part."
"Prometheus 2" plot also "will have three plot elements, and Shaw and Davids mission to find the Engineers' homeworld is just one of those," reported the leak.
Meanwhile, although Ridley Scott revealed that "Prometheus 2" could be, at a level, xenomorph-free, the ancient aliens (or some form of it) will still make an appearance in the sequel. The same report revealed that "'Prometheus 2' will feature 2 monsters - both having connections to the Xenomorph, but are not Xenomorphs themselves."
"If we are expecting an evolution and more depth to the Ancient Aliens connection, this won't be the case but we could see a slight connection as far as some Ancient God connections. As far as Hierarchy and Order of creation," the leaked report further revealed.
"Prometheus 2" release date is set on March 4, 2016.
