“Pirates of the Caribbean 5” might have its lead character killed via a guillotine, as pointed out by Fashion & Style. A new video that has recently been leaked to the Internet show Johnny Depp – wearing his full Captain Jack Sparrow pirate costume – being led to a guillotine by men who were wearing British soldier uniforms.
The film’s director, Joachim Ronning, had also previously shared a photograph of himself aboard a helicopter. “Stay on target,” he wrote on Instagram. Apparently, the team was filming the ship while treading on the blue waters of the Australian Gold Coast. As seen in the photo that Ronning shared, the view looks absolutely stunning.
Moreover, Gold Coast Bulletin reported that a fan told them about Orlando Bloom’s appearance in Australia. To date, it remains unclear whether or not the “Lord of the Rings” star will be reprising his role as Will Turner, but fans of the pirate-centered franchise reported spotted him at the airport at a coffee shop.
The fans who had seen him sipping on coffee said that he was actually reading a document that seemed to look like a script for “Pirates of the Caribbean 5.” “He was reading a script at an outdoor table,” fans said. “No doubt for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean,’ while his nanny was looking after his son. His two minders were eyeing off anyone who came near him.”
As stated in the film’s official synopsis, Jack will be – as usual – down on his luck. He will be facing off with his already dead nemesis, Captain Salazar – together with his deadly ghost pirates – played by Javier Bardem. In order to beat Bardem’s character, he has to acquire the Trident of Poseidon. It is only through this legendary item that he can have the seas at his bidding.
Joining Depp and Bardem for “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” are Kaya Scodelario from “The Maze Runner” as the female lead character, Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa, Stephen Graham as Scrum, Golshifteh Farahani, Brenton Thwaites from "The Giver" as Henry, and Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs.
