Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release Date: Hybrid Laptop To Be Launched Alongside Windows 10; Should Users Wait For It Or Should They Settle For The Surface 3?

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be out alongside the Windows 10 late next month, according to the rumor mill.

This rumor may have surfaced after it was announced that the Surface 3 was finally available in the tech market a little over a month ago.

The Surface 3 is actually a lower variant of the Surface Pro 3. So far, it has become the lightest gadget that is part of the Surface series, according to Surface Blog. Ever since Microsoft launched the unit as a hybrid laptop that can give its users mobility with its handy and lightweight features, tech users have started to wonder on whether they should purchase it or simply wait for the Surface Pro 4 to be available in the market.

As reported by Yibada, the Surface 3 features a 10.8-inch screen display that has a full HD 1,920 x 1,280 megapixel pixel resolution. It is powered by Cherry Trail, which is an Intel atom processor. It also has a 3.0 USB port, a mini Display port, as well as a 2.0 micro USB slot.

With regards to its photo snappers, it has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 3.5-megapixel front camera. It runs on the Windows 8.1, but users can always opt to upgrade to the Windows 10 for absolutely free once it has been made available in the market.

A standard version of the unit – which refers to the version that does not have its stylus and type cover – can be availed at $300. Meanwhile, a premium model that is complete with its accessories can be purchased at $499.

The upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will reportedly have two sizes, a 12-inch variant and a 14-inch model – both of which will sport 2,160 x 1,440 pixel resolutions, according to Design & Trend. It will be powered by an Intel Core M Broadwell chip and will either have an i5 or an i7 processor that is rumored to have a Windows 10 operating system.

Plus, its storage features is reportedly going to be at a massive 1 TB, with RAM of 4 GB – which can be upgraded up to 16 GB. Its base model will reportedly be attached to a $499 price tag.
