After rumors that Rihanna has finally completed work on her new album, fans are wondering where the new music collection is now---especially since Chris Brown is reportedly collaborating with RiRi. "Towards the Sun" singer holding back its release?

In a report by UrbanIslandz, an alleged source tells the media that Rihanna's ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has been in touch with the singer for a collaboration, possibly coming out in the new album. "I think there might be a dope Rihanna and Chris Brown song coming this year," the source said.

"These two have collaborated before and make dope hit music so when they come together you can expect something crazy. This is something that they have been talking about for a while now but it was his idea original to get her on his upcoming album. She agreed that they should do another song so it's almost a done deal," the report alleged.

While this news has yet to be confirmed by either Rihanna or Chris Brown, fans are now speculating that this could be one of the many possible reasons why the new album hasn't gone out yet. It was rumored that Rihanna had already completed work on the new album, but fans are perplexed as to why RiRi has kept mum on the subject.

IBTimes pointed out that one reason for the new album's delay could simply because Rihanna has been overly busy about her career in fashion that she no longer-at least for now---is able to accommodate her music.

MStarz, on the other hand, blamed the delay of the new Rihanna album on her current romantic issues that may have caused her to take a step back from her music. PageSix simply speculated that the real reason behind the fuss about her new album is simple writer's block. "The singles haven't caught on. She'll be fine because she's Rihanna - but it's not a good thing that the songs haven't stuck," the report said.

While all these speculations are plausible, fans will never know until Rihanna herself shares details or actually just releases the new album. What do you think?
