“Avengers 3: Infinity War – Part 1” is one of the most awaited movies in the years to come, particularly because it will be featuring a lot of Marvel’s biggest superheroes. Apart from that, rumor has it that director Joss Whedon will reportedly bring back one of the characters who were killed off in “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron.”

Much to the delight of those who left cinemas in tears after Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver met his demise in “Age of Ultron,” it is rumored that he will be back in “Avengers 3: Infinity War – Part 1.” Although Taylor-Johnson neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, his cleverness in addressing the issue further fueled speculations that Marvel will, indeed, resurrect Quicksilver in the upcoming blockbuster.

“It is the Marvel universe,” he told Cinema Blend. “It was very much our intention to, kind of, go the way we did. There was a costume designed for if I did not die, which was f*cking really cool. I was, like, ‘Oh, my God!’”

He added that he cannot give away any specific details about it, but he did reveal that “it was definitely an alternative.” “It was very much set from the very beginning,” he said. “Joss had in mind to tell the story that he told and I was very game for that as well. I think it really gives the movie, sort of, an emotional twist – a surprise.”

According to Franchise Herald, Quicksilver will be brought back from the dead through a potion called Terrigen Mist. By subjecting himself to this mist, he can obtain the ability to travel through time as an acute enhancement to his former super speed.

“I said to Aaron, ‘The only way you will stay alive is if the Disney executives say, ‘Hey, idiot! This is a franchise! We need all these people and you are not allowed to kill them off!’’” Whedon told Empire. “We did, actually, shoot him in the last scene – in an outfit, with his sister. We also shot him, waking up, saying, ‘Ah, I did not really die from these 47 bullet wounds!’ Maybe I will let you know about that later.”
