"Frozen 2" cast, plot and release date rumors claim that the highly anticipated sequel could center on Elsa's backstory, possibly exposing the origin of her powers.
"The speculation was only fueled by recent news that Eva Bella, the girl playing young Elsa, has signed on to 'Frozen 2," Ecumenical News reported.
Meanwhile, it looks like Olaf will also have more screen time in the sequel. However, there will be more melting moments for the totally adorable snowman.
"We've seen Olaf melt for Anna in part 1, because...well, some people are worth melting for," Australia Network News reported. "Expect the adorable snowman melt several times more in part 2. But don't worry, with a cloud above his head, he'll be back to his ice cold self in no time."
The actor who plays Olaf, Josh Gad, has also shared his excitement about the upcoming flick, and has claimed that it will be nothing short of "wonderful."
"It's already been announced and I know that they're actively developing it," he said as reported by Ecumenical News.
"I think it's still a bit away. I think that the creative team is really taking their time to define how to top that story. The more I hear about it, the more excited I'm getting and I think it's going to be wonderful."
"Frozen 2" cast, plot and release date rumors also suggest that the highly anticipated sequel could be slated for a 2018 screening.
"Director Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee and producer Peter Del Vecho will be on hand to take charge once things get moving," Master Herald noted. "According to reports, the second movie is coming out so much later because the company does not want to rush through it and make sure that it can live up to the original film."
