She took fashion to a whole new level with the outfit that she chose to wear on the stage during her performances in Perth, Australia. She had on a strapless bodice that was covered in attractive glitters, and paired it with a cropped gold mini skirt.
The 44-year-old "Dreamlover" singer used a gold microphone and had a shiny, metallic glove on her right hand. Her locks were let loose on her shoulders, cascading down her back, and completed her concert ensemble with a pair of strappy gold sandals.
She was, literally, singing in the rain as downpour soaked the arena. Crew members were seen continuously mopping the floor, especially the part near the internationally famous songstress, multiple times.
Still, despite the ugly weather, Mariah Carey managed to entertain the crowd. She wowed the audience with a Donna Summer and Barbara Streisand duet, "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)", singing "It's raining. It's pouring. My love life is boring me to tears, after all these years."
Additionally, Carey related these lyrics to her recent split from husband Nick Cannon, who happens to be the father of her adorable three-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
"When I was a kid, I was thinking 'She's telling it,' but now, I know it's just a song," she said while on the stage. She then added, "It's just songs. I mean, really. Or is it deeper than that?"
Just this past August, the 33-year-old Cannon confirmed to the press that he and the famous singer were actually living apart. He also revealed that they have both decided to go their separate ways permanently. Despite this revelation, the TV host admitted that he did not have any hard feelings towards his ex-wife.
