Nikki Reed seems to be worried that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev may rekindle their romance on the set of "The Vampire Diaries."
Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that the cast of "TVD" have hinted at the return of Dobrev's character, Elena Gilbert, to the series. Ian Somerhalder teased that Elena was very much alive during Comic-Con 2015.
"She's still there, dude," Somerhalder said. "She's in a casket; she's having a nap." Paul Wesley, who plays Stefan, also added that characters always die and come back in "TVD."
"I think that's what's fun about this series," Candice Accola admitted. "You never know when characters are going to leave, you never know when they're going to come back. That's been a constant for six seasons, now. So the fact that, for such a big departure, that it is left open-ended, is really true to the show."
It seems like Nina is still chummy with her former castmates from "The Vampire Diaries." Dobrev, along with Accola, attended Kayla Ewell's bachelorette party last Aug. 1. The trio spent a fun weekend with other pals along the beautiful mountainous countryside.
Dobrev's return to "TVD" will definitely be welcomed by both fans and the cast of the series. Nikki Reed need not worry as well since the 26-year-old actress just came back from a luxurious vacation with her 30-year-old boyfriend, Austin Stowell.
According to the Daily Mail, the couple was seen enjoying a getaway on a yacht in the south of France last Sunday. Dobrev and Stowell were recently linked when they were spotted getting cozy at the Hallmark Shoebox relaunch in Hollywood last Jun. 10.
Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell were photographed kissing and hugging each other during their day at the beach. The couple even went on a Jet Ski ride and was joined by "Furious 7" star Michelle Rodriguez.
