At the fast rate divorce papers are filed in court, long-lasting love is certainly becoming rare. Nevertheless, it still remains the most ideal form of partnership.

Take, for example, the Clarks. Tom, 96, and Arniesteen, 92, have been married for more than 65 years, only a few years shy from the average lifespan of a person. They have been inseparable ever since they have vowed to love each other.

Only two events forced them to be part. First, it was when many years ago Tom, a part of the army, had to live for a bit in Korea. The second is when they have to be placed in separate hospital private rooms.

In a Facebook post of Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia on August 6, which has already gone viral after it was shared more than 2,000 times, the couple is unfortunately admitted into the facility.

It's unclear from the description as to how both of them landed in the hospital, although it said they were in the orthopedic care section. The couple was placed in the fourth floor, which apparently only have private rooms.

The post mentioned that per regulations of the state, only one patient is allowed to stay in a private room. Although they also have semi-private rooms-the hospital has more than 185 beds-the floor they're in is specially designed to those who need orthopedic care. For the Clarks, this meant they wouldn't be together as long as they're in the hospital.

Touched by the story, the orthopedic team, led by Tina Mann, manager, decided to modify the rules a bit and made a special arrangement so Tom could visit his wife and hold her hand.

Based on the photo, it's clear that the hospital staff made the right decision. The smile on Tom's face says how much he loves his wife, whom he described as the finest woman in the world.
