"Dragon Ball Super" episode 6 showed more of Beerus' evil side and Vegeta's background with the God of Destruction.
In the latest installment of the series, Beerus confronted Vegeta during Bulma's party and rendered him paralyzed. Viewers were then shown a flashback of Beerus threatening Vegeta's father in the past.
The preview for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 6, entitled "Don't Anger the God of Destruction! The Heart-Pounding Birthday Party," was released last week.
In the last part of the trailer, Vegeta was shown stumbling near Beerus' feet leading to speculations that Vegeta will be defeated by the God of Destruction. It seemed like the Saiyan may not be able to save Earth at all or he could just be feigning weakness to trick Beerus and Whis.
In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 6, the flashback showed Beerus getting angry at Vegeta's father for stealing the "most comfortable pillow in the Universe." Beerus wanted the item for himself.
Vegeta saw how the God of Destruction punished his father and got angry. However, Beerus also paralyzed kid Vegeta with his mind.
Bulma invited Beerus and Whis to the party thinking that they were Vegeta's friends. Attack of the Fanboy reported that Vegeta tried to keep the God of Destruction happy since he knows that the planet is doomed if he gets angry.
Vegeta even became a chef to alleviate Beerus' anger when Trunks and Goten accidentally squirted water in his face. The Saiyan cooked fried octopus balls, which the God of Destruction liked so much.
This scene was different from "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" where Vegeta had to sing to get Beerus' attention. Things still take a turn for the worse, though, when Buu got greedy and did not share his pudding with the God of Destruction.
Buu refused to share his food and ended up being defeated. "Dragon Ball Super" episode 6 ended with Vegeta thinking that the end of the world is near.
