Having a Guinness World Record title is nothing new for Corduroy, the world’s oldest living cat.
The domestic long hair cat, who is 124 years old in human years, won the honor once again after the previous title holder, Tiffany Two, died in May, according to the Huffington Post.
Tiffany Two was reportedly 27 years, two months and nine days old when she passed away. The cat had reportedly taken the record from Corduroy last October when she was discovered by Guinness World Records.
Ashley Reed Okura, Corduroy’s owner, is “thrilled” for her cat.
“I bought Corduroy a mouse to celebrate,” Okura said in a Guinness World Records press release.
"He is such a mellow, cool old cat and it is wonderful to share him with the world. It's truly amazing to have picked Corduroy out from a litter when I was almost seven years old and still have him in my life today."
The lifespan for most indoor cats ranges between 13 and 17 years, according to the Washington Post. Corduroy was reportedly born on August 1, 1989, making him 26 years old.
Hopefully, Corduroy will be able to win the honor of the Oldest Cat ever. Creme Puff, the holder of the title, reportedly lived 38 years before passing away in Texas in 2005.
Okura recently revealed her secret to keeping Corduroy healthy and happy.
“The secret has been allowing him to be a cat — hunting and getting plenty of love,” stated the cat owner.
