It is officially two months delayed and still no updates from Frank Ocean or his camp about the whereabouts of the supposed new album. Fans are now asking, will a release date announcement come anytime soon?

Early this year, singer-songwriter Frank Ocean announced that a sophomore album is coming as the second half of the year arrives and fans were over the moon. With an expected release date sometime in July, Frank Ocean's fans slowly counted the days when the new album would come out. Mid-July came and no announcement; the month ended and no peep from the artist.

Fans were enraged as the entire month of July passed without a single word from Frank Ocean's camp, and no update as to why the scheduled, albeit vague, release date was delayed. August passed and while there were two possible hints of the new album release date, still there was nothing about when the new album, speculated to be titled "Boy's Don't Cry" will be coming.

Previous reports revealed that while there were no updates about the new Frank Ocean album, the artist's website which noticeably redirects to a new landing page was rumored to be a sort-of countdown to the new album's release. However, weeks passed and again, nothing was launched; no release date was updated.

Soon, the hullabaloo on the "new tracks" released online surfaced, enraging Frank Ocean fans even more after it was pointed out the songs were actually old recordings from the artist, and in fact, not part of the new album expected to come this year. Frank Ocean, also bowed out of a performance during the FYF Fest last month, and was replaced by Kanye West, which was a treat sure, but not what Frank Ocean fans wanted to see.

FasterLouder revealed how all the delayed new album and neglected release date updates have affected Frank Ocean fans, with the report going as far as to say "Frank Ocean is a liar." The report bluntly pointed out that "Frank Ocean is fast becoming the posterboy of broken promises," relating the new album, FYF Fest performance and even the "new track" release trick that happened last month.

So, with all these happening, Frank Ocean fans now ask, where is the new album really?
