A few days before the much awaited "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" movie hits theaters this week, the cast visits Saturday Night Live to (promote the movie) sing Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" from her best selling "1989" album.
Jennifer Lawrence looked amazing as always... but her singing prowess was relentlessly teased by "Hunger Games" co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth.
"When I sing, I sound like a deer that has been caught in a fence," she jokes.
"I'd say it's more like a dog being hit by a truck," says Hemsworth, who stars as Gale in the hit movie series.
"Or that goat that screams like a human," added Hutcherson, who stars as Peeta.
It's been nearly 25 years since he first hosted SNL in 1989, so it was actually fitting that he'd pick a song from Swift's "1989".
The lyrics of "Blank Space", however, had been humorously completely rewritten. "I got a blank space baby, because I used to do cocaine."
Harrelson was such an entertaining host to watch! He wore dreadlocks, played guitar several times and talked about pot... a lot.
Picking up a guitar, he said, "With all due respect to Miss Swift, I think I know a little bit more about 1989 than she does... even if the memories are a little fuzzy, because of the drugs."
He says he even smoked "a lot of herb right before" he went on stage. True enough his memory was a bit hazy as she mistakenly took JLaw as Taylor!
"Woody, I'm not Taylor Swift," says Lawrence. "I'm Jennifer. We've done about 10 'Hunger Games' together."
JLaw even tried to do an impression of Harrelson but totally messed up! She jokes Harrelson was indeed "always stoned".
