The iPhone 6s has yet to be released, but iPhone 7 release date and features rumors are already spreading like wildfire online.
According to latest rumors, the new mobile phone is targetted to be released by Sept. 6, 2016. While Apple has not concrete news to offer as of the moment since they are still focused on the iPhone 6s, several tech blogs and sites believe the iPhone could be unveiled around that date.
"Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims the iPhone 7, which is unlikely to launch until at least September 2016, will be the firm's thinnest handset to date at just 6mm thick," Daily Mail claimed.
"This would put on a par with the iPod touch, and would be almost a millimetre thinner than the current iPhone 6."
"If Mr Kuo's claims are true, Apple's next-generation handset would be its thinnest yet, but it would still be significantly thicker than the thinnest phone in the world - Vivo's X5 Max."
Kuo, who has been a key person in giving Apple forecasts, has also called the iPhone 7 the "phone of the future" in a previous statement.
The iPhone 7's features remain to be pure rumors as of the moment. While no one knows for sure what Apple's newest flagship will boast of, speculations are heavy online.
"This could very well end up being the case with the upcoming iPhone 7 as a recent patent filling uncovered by AppleInsider suggests that the smartphone will be waterproof," Geek Snack noted.
Apart from being waterproof, the iPhone 7 will also sport a flexible display according to latest specs and release date rumors. The said speculation was based on a reported U.S. patent filing from the Cupertino based tech giant.
