The preview trailer for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 12 has been streamed.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 11 saw the next chapter in the Goku vs. Beerus fight. Entitled "Continuing Lord Beerus! The Battle of the Gods," the latest installment in the series focused solely on the battle between the Super Saiyan God and the God of Destruction.
Beerus was shown increasing his power bit by bit to defeat Goku. The episode ended with Goku powering up to use his full powers as Super Saiyan God.
Now, the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 12 preview trailer showed the two Gods charging towards each other just outside of Earth. The next installment in the series will showcase the true powers of the Super Saiyan God.
In one scene, Beerus was shown attempting to strike Goku with his palm like a cutter. Fortunately, the Super Saiyan God was able to block it. One scene showed Vegeta looking up as Whis emerged in front of him.
However, it seems like the battle will be halted before one of the Gods emerge as victor. In the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 12 preview trailer, Goku can be heard in the background complaining that the fight should be continued since he is on his way to defeat the God of Destruction.
Supreme Kai may stop the battle between Goku and Beerus. However, the reason for his interference was not revealed in the video.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 12 will be aired on Sep. 27. It is entitled "Universe Crumble!? Duel, God of Destruction vs. Super Saiyan God!"
Things are looking up for the series. It was previously reported that fans were outraged over the show since the earlier episodes were mostly filler content.
There were criticisms on the show's low animation quality as well, which surprising since the "Dragon Ball Z" franchise has a strong fanbase. The rehashing of the "Battle of Gods" story has also been met with negative reactions.
