"Persona 5" characters and their descriptions have been revealed.
Anime News Network reported that the official website for the game has been updated with "Persona 5" characters and their descriptions. The descriptions and backgrounds for Jun Fukuyama's Protagonist, Mamoru Miyano's Ryuji Sakamoto, Nana Mizuki's An Takamaki and Ikue Ohtani's Morgana have been revealed.
Other "Persona 5" characters are portrayed by Rina Satou, Aki Toyosaki, Hirohiko Kakegawa, Tomokazu Sugita, Jouji Nakata, Yuji Mitsuya, Kazunari Tanaka, Minako Arakawa, Yuko Kaida, Masane Tsukayama, Souichiro Hoshi, Aoi Yūki, Shuuichi Ikeda, Haruka Tomatsu and Yukitoshi Hori.
The Protagonist will be played by Jun Fukuyama. He is the person who is deemed as the leader of the phantom thief group. This "Persona 5" character is a 16-year-old boy who recently transferred to a new high school but looks like an adult at first glance.
He has a mysterious reason for coming to the big city, which could be his motivation in conducting heists. The Protagonist currently lives with his parents' friend at a teahouse.
Mamoru Miyano's Ryuji Sakamoto is also a 16-year-old second year student. He is considered as a problem child due to his wild behavior. An Takamaki, is Ryuji and the Protagonist's classmate. She usually stands out in a crowd due to her American roots.
Morgana, which is the most mysterious part of the phantom thief group, is portrayed by Ikue Ohtani. This "Persona 5" character has the height of a child and the physical features of a black cat.
Atlus has announced a TV anime special for the game during the Tokyo Game Show last week. The video showcased footage from its opening scene and its opening theme song by Lyn.
The "Persona 5" release date for PS3 was supposed to be during winter 2014 in Japan. However, it was delayed and is now slated for shipping next summer on PS4 and PS3. The game will be released in North America by 2016 after the delay.
