Taylor Swift wouldn't be shaking much off when she agrees to grace the cover of the rebirthed Playboy. Rebranding takes out nudity and focuses on the interview in 2015, what will come off the new age of the legendary magazine?

Latest news has revealed that after that tumultuous discussion on taking out the nudity from Playboy Magazine, a new star has been linked as the cover girl. Grammy winner Taylor Swift has been rumored to take on the first PG-13 Playboy Magazine.

A report by HollywoodLife revealed that in a more interview-centric 2015 Playboy Magazine issue, the "Shake it off" singer has been a prime consideration. "Playboy wants to make a splash on their first non- nude cover and they would love to have Taylor Swift on the cover and pair that with an amazing interview inside," revealed a source to the site.

"The Playboy brand knows having such a powerful woman on their cover will really show the new look that they are going for as they rebrand," it added.

The 25-year-old country-turned-pop singer is known for her sugary sweet image, but has definitely evolved into a sultry, classic femme fatale (at least in her videos in 2015). The rumors of her gracing the cover of the first non-nudity Playboy magazine have surged after the magazine revealed the move to rebrand.

Engadget revealed the reason behind Playboy Magazine's decision to cover-up, with CEO Scott Flanders explaining the revamp has been caused by online porn.

"You're now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free," Flanders said.  "And so it's just passé at this juncture."

The long line of women who posed for Playboy Magazine dates back to Marilyn Monroe in 1953 to 2015. A report by IBTimes revealed that the history of Playboy has indeed been colorful and apart from the nudity, the compelling articles have also set the magazine apart from other publications.

However, due to the growing and easily-accessed online porn, the report revealed that "the magazine's circulation has fallen to 800,000 now from 5.6 million in 1975."

Will Taylor Swift's possible Playboy cover issue make the magazine rebranding successful? Thoughts?
