The teaser for Ariana Grande's new song "Focus" showed the pop star with blonde locks.
The "Problem" singer has took to Twitter last Sunday to share a preview of her forthcoming single entitled "Focus." The 16-second teaser featured Ari with platinum hair.
"One, two, three, come on girl," Ariana Grande's song said. The singer also posted the official artwork for "Focus" on her Instagram account.
NME reported that "Focus" will be the lead single of Grande's third studio album, following "My Everything." The singer revealed "Moonlight" through a direct message to a fan last May.
Refinery29 commented on the "trumpety beat that calls to mind Christina Aguilera's 'Candyman' phase" in Ariana Grande's song. The publication added that a lot of "scatting and harmonizing" is featured in the teaser.
"Focus" will be released on Oct. 30. There are no indications that "Moonlight" will be available on the same date. However, Ari did drop hints about her album's release date last month on Twitter.
"Babies, I'm so excited for the nearby future," she tweeted on Sep. 3. "(also embracing and loving the present)... but I'm really effing excited for the near future."
"I consider October 'nearby future,' she added in another tweet.
Twitter user Lil Kitty was able to take a screenshot of the singer's deleted tweet saying that "the [Moon emoji] festivities will begin in October."
The "Break Free" singer is certainly hands-on with her social media and career. According to The Belfast Telegraph, Ariana Grande "wants to be a grown up" and wishes to makes her own decisions regarding her career.
"She wants to be a grown up, she wants to make her own decisions, she wants to be like Taylor (Swift), who has a camp but makes every single decision when it comes to her image at the end of the day," a source said. "So she's made her mom less of a manager, more of a source of support."
