Latest news have revealed that "Fast and the Furious" franchise refuses to let go of Paul Walker as rumors surface that the late actor will still make an appearance in the upcoming "Fast and Furious 8." MovieNewsGuide revealed that in order for Jordana Brewster's character, Mia Toretto to return to "Fast and Furious 8" cast, Paul Walker flashbacks might aid the transition.
"'Fast and Furious 8' is rumoured to have a secluded storyline for Mia Toretto's return," revealed the report. "The first of the upcoming trilogy and eighth installment of 'Fast and Furious' franchise is all set to debut a little part of Brian O' Connor for the special return of Mia Toretto."
In the last "Fast and the Furious" installment, "Furious 7" revealed a peaceful exit of actor Paul Walker as his character, Brian O'Connor together with Mia and their son, take an implied time off the fast cars and dangerous lifestyle to live quietly and raise the boy. The abrupt death of Paul Walker has since generated numerous speculations about "Fast and Furious 8" including how many of the cast members will return for future installments, and if the Walker brothers will join the cast.
Another report by the same media revealed that Cody Walker might not be joining the "Fast and Furious 8" cast as initially speculated. The report pointed out that the "Fast and Furious 8" IMDB release has removed Cody Walker's name from the cast list, indicating that Paul Walker's brother might have backed out from the latest installment or that his character in "Fast and Furious 8" might not have worked.
So far, confirmed cast members for "Fast and Furious 8" include Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
