The "Assassination Classroom" live-action movie reportedly lacked a cohesive plot unlike its anime and manga versions.

In their review of the "Assassination Classroom" live-action movie, Snap 30 commented that the film covered the whole 24 episodes of the anime in approximately 2 hours. Although it did remain true to the original story and was able to recreate key moments from the series, it still lost a sense of flow and cohesion.

"Now, whilst this may sound impressive, the time disparity prevents the film from showcasing the dialogue that occurs between these moments. thus, at the end of the day, we are left with a large cast of unexplored characters who fail to leave any true impact on the audience," the website wrote.

Furthermore, Korosensei's movements seemed slow and his interaction with his students was "far from perfect." There were moments when it became obvious that the teacher was not there during filming.

Apparently, "Assassination Classroom" live-action was best left with its anime and/or manga combos. Although it was cool to see some scenes reimagined in real life, the film did not do justice to the characters and their development.

"If you're looking for a more complete and cohesive plot however, I recommend putting the time into reading the manga, or watching the anime," the website concluded. "They tell a better version of the same story."

It was previously reported that the "Assassination Classroom" manga will have a spin-off series. Shueisha's Saikyo Jump magazine has teased that the title character is set to become a "demon king" at the beginning of the manga.

"The teacher has just destroyed the moon and is threatening to destroy the earth - unless his students can destroy him first," the story's description read. "What makes things more complicated is that he's the best teacher they've ever had!"

"Assassination Classroom" season 2 is expected to air next year. The anime official website has confirmed that it will air on Jan. 2016.
