Latest talk on "Frozen 2" is that an LGBT theme will be inserted in the Disney movie. Wait, what?
While "Frozen 2" is still currently in the making and there has not yet been any official announcements regarding the plot of the Disney movie, fans can't help but think of the possible storylines for the epic animation.
In a report by MoviePilot, Jennifer Kee, the writer of the film along with the director, Chris Buck, mentioned that the plot of "Frozen 2" will feature a strong concept that will tackle the issues that people from all ages are currently experiencing or can relate to.
"We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with. I think we're very aware of what is happening in society. When the kids watch [Disney movies], they watch them over and over again, and if we don't have a decent message in there, I think we've missed an opportunity."
Some speculate that the plot may have something to the with the LGBT community. It is possible that the upcoming "Frozen 2" will feature a gay character, which to some may be Queen Elsa herself seeing that she had no love interest in the first movie.
"[In Frozen] she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end she's just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again. That's what was really good about the short [Frozen Fever] - we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality ... you will see in the next one."
Speaking of Elsa, it was shared by the writers that in "Frozen 2," more about Elsa's personality will be revealed! While MovieNewsGuide revealed that the plot of the sequel could reveal how Elsa got her magic powers.
