"AHS: Hotel" is the fifth chapter currently running today, but already fans are clamoring for season 6 and 7! Will Jessica Lange return?
Well, good news awaits 'AHS' fans! In a report by Entertainment Weekly, Ryan Murphy, the showrunner of the horror fiction series, mentioned that there is a possibility that season 6 and possibly season 7 of "AHS" might be released in the same year, specifically next year!
"Next year we might do a fall American Horror Story and a spring," the showrunner revealed. "We have to decide."
The plot for seasons 6 and 7 was not yet revealed, however, Murphy promised that the upcoming two seasons of the show will be darker and better than ever!
"We're doing something that we've never done before on the show where we're doing two different groups of writers rooms. Some of our writers will be bouncing around but a whole different group coming in late August. The next thing we're crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just opulent. More rogue and more dark."
The source also mentioned that there is a possibility that the "AHS" queen, Jessica Lange, might return in season 6! Murphy and Jessica Lange still have to confirm on the matter. But definitely fans are clamoring that the queen of horror return at least in the next installments.
Though the 6th and 7th installment of the series is still in the far future, viewers of the show can't help but wonder what the succeeding seasons of "AHS" might be about.
Murphy also told the same site that the plot for season 6 of "AHS" was already mentioned in the previous seasons! With that in mind, the site also mentioned that it is possible that the next season might focus on demons, aliens, or orphanages. Whatever the plot may be, no doubt it will be horrifying than this season.
