"Dragon Ball Super" episode 19 saw the official start of the "Resurrection of F" arc.

Entitled "Goku Throws Himself Into Training Under Whis, Meanwhile in Hell, You-Know-Who Suffers Intense Torment," "Dragon Ball Super" episode 19 will reportedly feature the unique strategy that Whis has employed with Goku and Vegeta's training.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 19 could also see the resurrection of Frieza. Episode 18 may have been the last filler installment until the series starts its "Resurrection of F" arc.

In their review of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 19, AOTFB confirmed that the "Resurrection of F" saga had officially started. The latest installment of the series is the first part of the film.

Sorbet and his gang came to Earth to wish Frieza back. This was shown in the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 19 trailer with Tagoma, Sorbet and others summoning Shenron, the God Dragon.

The publication commented that the recent episode is just another rehash of the "Resurrection of F" movie. This is similar to what happened to earlier episodes which was retold from "Battle of Gods."

"Episode 19 is a bit weak mainly because it's retelling events exactly like they were in the 'Resurrection of F' movie," Attack of the Fanboy wrote.

One minor difference, though, was the scene with Piccolo doing funny faces to entertain baby Pan instead of him just rocking her crib. According to AOTFB, this was a "nice funny touch" to his always serious character.

In addition, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 19 showed the return of Captain Ginyu. However, he was shown in frog form and, apparently, he is still alive. This week's installment ended with Frieza's body becoming intact and his resurrection.

In conclusion, AOTFB commented that episode 19 is not a must-see for those who have watched the "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" movie. However, it does provide a background on Frieza's return for those who have not seen the film.
