Previously, "One Punch Man" episode 7 spoilers revealed that a giant meteor was hurling towards Earth. In the latest installment of the series, it was confirmed that it was heading for City Z.
The Hero Association called up all Class S heroes to help the city but only Genos and Bang, also known as Silver Fang, showed up. The cyborg then decided to destroy the meteor alone.
Another Class S hero named Bofoi, also known as Metal Knight, showed up and Genos thought that he would help him save City Z. However, he only wanted to test his new robot on the meteor.
In "One Punch Man" episode 7, the class S heroes were unable to destroy the cosmic threat to Earth. Saitama came to the rescue and obliterated the meteor with his signature one-punch, crumbling it to a million pieces.
Although the protagonist was able to save City Z, pieces of the meteor destroyed buildings and houses - even his favorite supermarket. The second part of "One Punch Man" episode 7 saw the devastation of the city and the people's reaction to Saitama.
Genos' ranking moved up a notch from class S rank 17 to 16. Saitama is now a class C rank 5 hero from being rank 342. He could have been a class A or S hero if City Z hadn't been damaged.
Tank-Top Tiger returned along with his brother, Tank-Top Black Hole. The two class C heroes tried to crush Saitama's spirit as they got the people to shame the hero-for-fun for destroying City Z.
"One Punch Man" episode 7 ended with Saitama telling the people of City Z that he isn't doing this "superhero thing" for admiration. Genos arrived and they both go home.
