Could it be possible that the indifference between George Clooney's wife Amal Alamuddin and Angelina Jolie were caused by their own husbands' alleged feud?
The BFFs are reportedly on bad terms after a project deal went wrong. According to sources, Brad beat George to the film rights of the book "Law of the Jungle," a true-life story behind the 22-years-and-counting legal battle over pollution in the Ecuadorian jungle.
"George desperately wanted the project. Brad knew it, but he scooped it up anyway," a source claimed, Radar reported. "He told George, 'It's just business, man. But George can't forgive him. He thinks Brad's a big phony now - praising him to the press and then stabbing him in the back!"
Brad is reportedly not having any of it from George too.
"Brad no longer feels that way about George," the insider added. "He can't stand the sight of him anymore. He told him to his face, 'I hate you! Drop dead!'"
"Angie thinks Amal is 'putting on airs,' and Amal thinks Angie is a pretender."
It was previously suggested that George Clooney and his wife Amal have patched things up with the Pitts.The couple who just celebrated their first wedding anniversary just recently, is allegedly looking at the possibility of adopting since they have been having problems getting pregnant. Apparently, George has already sought the help of his good friend Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie on the matter.
"According to a report from Design & Trend, George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin are ready to start a family, and are considering adoption," VCPost reported. "The couple feels that the only thing missing in their marriage is having a child."
"An insider opened up on the couple's plans and stated how happy the famous Hollywood actor is with his wife, and how both of them have discussed and love the idea of adopting a child in need, in the future. George has already spoken to close friend Brad Pitt, and is hoping the he and wife Angelina Jolie will be able to help him and Amal when the right time comes."
