Guns N' Roses band members are reportedly in talks for a world tour.
According to the rumor mill, this year's Thanksgiving season will mark the time when the band did not use words to confirm a much awaited reunion.
As reported by San Diego Union Tribune, the band's official website started to sell special Guns N' Roses merchandise to die-hard fans. Pillows, blankets, T-shirts, and other kinds of items with the band's logo or printed faces of the band's original members - Slash, Steven Adler, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin, and Axl Rose - sold like hot pancakes.
A Guns N' Roses reunion will be a wonderful surprise for the band's loyal fans, especially since its band members have been estranged for so long. For the past 18 years, Slash and Rose have not spoken with one another due to irreconcilable differences. After all, they had battled over a lot of things - both in and out of court.
That said, the fact that Slash and Rose met up just this summer and let bygones be bygones has led fans to speculate that the Guns N' Roses band members are in talks for a world tour reunion. Once the band's original members do give the reunion a chance, it could be the most lucrative reunion concert in rock history. It must also be noted that the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival has reportedly been hell-bent on convincing Guns N' Roses band members to be in talks for a world tour.
Although this may be true, one of Slash's replacements, Dj Ashba, revealed to the press just this June that Rose is not interested in fattening his bank account if the music material is not a work of "art."
"I have never seen or met anybody that was motivated purely by the desire to make art!" Ashba said. "Otherwise, there would have been a reunion! The offers for money have been outrageous! He would never do a reunion unless it was for something besides money!"
