Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are reportedly presently at an impasse. Although this does not immediately mean that the couple is heading for a breakup, it does indicate that they are not completely all right.
Apparently, the DJ hates it when Swift obsesses over her ex-boyfriends. It is no secret that the "Blank Space" singer has some unsettled issues with Harry Styles. However, Harris hates it when Swift publicly throws shades on the One Direction member.
"Calvin has separated himself from his playboy ways and is all in with his relationship with Taylor," an insider told Hollywood Life. "He does not like when she mentions her exes! He wants her to not talk about them, even if it is throwing shade at them! He wants her to be totally devoted to him. He gets jealous thinking that she still may have feelings for people like Harry or others she has dated. It is upsetting to him!"
The only thing that Harris wants from Swift is her devotion and love from him. He does not want to be part of her vendetta against her exes. From the looks of it, it would appear that he just wants the singer to let it go.
Taylor Swift had first fueled the feud when she liked a Tumblr post that referred to Styles as "immature." This enraged the British singer's fans and bashed Swift for being bitter about the breakup. The 1D member's fans even attacked Harris' social media account. Eventually, Taylor Swift's own doing compelled Calvin Harris to make his account private to keep Styles' fans from posting mean messages.
"Harry is more amused than upset with the claim that Taylor liked a post which said he was immature," an insider said, according to another Hollywood Life report. "He is not quite sure why she would still be mad at him! He does not have any hard feelings towards Taylor and hopes that, one day, they can be friends and that she can forgive him for ending their relationship. He knows it was hard on her, but figured she would be long over it by now!"
