Could Nicki Minaj leave Meek Mill to support BFF Drake?
Nicki is caught between a nasty feud between her good friend and her current squeeze. Now that the Canadian rapper's diss track directed at Meek Mill, "Back to Back," has been nominated for a Grammy, will Nicki realize that her rapper boyfriend lost the feud and eventually choose Drake's side?
"Well, that drama might not be quite over yet, as Drake's diss track 'Back to Back' is nominated at the 2016 Grammys in the Best Rap Performance category," Bustle reported. "During the much-publicized feud between Drake and Meek Mill, the Internet seemed to proclaim Drake the winner. And he couldn't do much better than receiving a Grammy nomination, could he?"
"What will it mean if Drake's 'Back to Back' wins a Grammy for Best Rap Performance? Especially considering that the diss track that Meek Mill wrote, 'Wanna Know', was so poorly received?"
While Nicki and Meek remain to be unfazed, many of her fans are arguing that the singer lowered her standards after being with Safaree Samuels for 12 years. The uproar started when Safaree posted a NSFW photo of himself in just boxer briefs.
One fan took to Twitter to write, "Safaree looks a hell of a lot better than Meek Mill, so in terms of physique and facial appearance, Nicki downgraded."
Apart from his hot bod, Safaree has also recently addressed rumors surrounding his split from Nicki. Rumor has it that Nicki cheated on him that's why they decided to part ways.
"Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels parted ways in 2014 after rumors began suggesting that Nicki was unfaithful in their relationship," Inquistr reported.
"Despite the rumors, Nicki Minaj later denied the claims by implying that it was Safaree who cheated 'on a loyal woman,' but Safaree maintains that it was Meek Mill who 'snitched' on him to Nicki Minaj regarding his alleged infidelity."
"I have seen things that I don't even bother to speak about, so I will just leave that," Safaree told Jamaica Star.
"But you know, as a man, there is just certain things that you don't do to another man, whether it's true or not-like its none of your business to go and tell somebody's significant other that, 'Oh, I saw your boyfriend doing this and doing that.'"
