Cindy Crawford's latest interview could land George Clooney in hot water with wife Amal Alamuddin.
Many reports claimed that George's wife is not fond with her husband's friends, and that includes Rande Gerber and wife Cindy. So when Cindy admitted to Conan that she almost got in bed with the actor, eyes are now on Amal and how she will react.
"George is very well behaved now that he's married to the lovely Amal [Clooney], but there was a time before he met Amal that he and Rande had gone out, and they did ask me if I wanted to come," Cindy recalled. "It was a Sunday night and I stayed home with the kids."
"Sometimes if Rande goes out late he'll go into the guest room because the kids will end up falling to sleep with me in my room," she continued.
"So, I got up because I wanted to make sure he was home safe, and I went in the guest room and I see Rande face down on the bed. He still has his motorcycle boots on. And I'm like, 'Really?' So, I go over, I get on the bed and I'm like, 'Hey, babe.' And he looks, and it wasn't Rande. It was George. And I don't know who was more shocked, me or George, because I've woken George out of a dead, slightly inebriated slumber. So, he was like, 'Oh, my God!' and I was like, 'Oh, my God!' And then I ran out."
The barrister was a hot topic among rumor sites after news surfaced that she insulted Cindy.
"The buzz is that Alamuddin was dining at a popular Los Angeles restaurant with Cindy, hubby George Clooney and Crawford's hubby Rande Gerber," CDL reported. "A source inside the restaurant told Star that Amal was joking around and told Cindy that Caitlyn could be her twin."
"The fellow diner - it could have been a member of the wait staff - says that Amal was giggling and Cindy sat there completely stone-faced. Did Amal Alamuddin mean this as a compliment or an insult or merely an observation?"
