Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner's massive popularity in the fashion industry could be credited to "America's Next Top Model" according to Tyra Banks.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the "ANTM" series creator discussed her favorite season, the contestants and the judge whom she wanted on the show. Tyra Banks also admitted that "America's Next Top Model" has influenced the world of high fashion to be more open-minded of the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

"I think it has opened up the world to accepting reality television stars as models," the former supermodel told the publication.

"If you think about Kendall and Kylie [Jenner] - people think Kylie's not a model, but I think she's a model - and Gigi [Hadid] and all of these girls from reality television, I think 'Top Model' knocked the doors down for that to be okay in the high fashion world."

Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner were both featured in this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Hadid's mother, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster, revealed that her daughter failed the auditions twice before landing the coveted job.

"I start crying because I know it is something that she wanted so much and she worked so hard to get," she said. "She's only 20 years old. She tried out twice and didn't get it and to get it the third time, it was just so special."

Meanwhile, the 19-year-old supermodel is featured in British Vogue's interview entitled "What Would Gigi Do?" Hadid talked about the things that she would do in random situations.

When asked about who she would invite if ever she could only invite a few people to a dinner party, the VS model revealed that she wants Beyonce, Serena Williams and BFF Kendall Jenner to be there.

"My friend Johnny Strange would be there," she added. "He was [an] extreme athlete. I always wanted him to meet my friend Lewis Hamilton, who is a race car driver, and they never got to meet, so I would have them at my dinner."
