A new "One Piece" anime film, entitled "Gold," has been confirmed for release next year.

It was previously reported that Eiichiro Oda's manga will once again be adapted into a full-length anime film. Entitled "One Piece: Gold," the pirate action series anime movie is slated for release on Jul. 23 next year in Japan.

"One Piece" manga creator Eiichiro Oda will be the film's executive producer with Hiraoki Miyamoto, who previously worked on the TV anime, directing it. Tsutomu Kuroiwa is writing the film's script.

Anime News Network reported that the first round of pre-sale tickets for the "One Piece" anime film will be available on Dec. 18, 2015. Weekly Shonen Jump's second 2016 issue, which will be hitting newstands on Dec. 14, will reveal the bonus extra which is included with the tickets.

"You can see the gleam in Luffy's eyes as he stares out from behind the letters of the word Gold," the "One Piece" anime film's tagline read, via Japan Today. "Could there be some kind of meaning behind it?!"

According to the publication, fans are speculating that the upcoming "One Piece" anime film will focus on Pirate King Gol D. Roger based on its title. It may give more details on the character which inspired Luffy to gather his pirate crew and search for treasure.

Design&Trend reported that, even though there have been glimpses of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger throughout the story and in "One Piece: Strong World," not much information has been revealed about him.

The website added that fans are excited to know all the details of how strong Roger was and what Devil Fruit he ate, if he did use any. It was said that the Pirate King is the strongest pirate to have existed. Apparently, he is even stronger than Whitebeard, who caused chaos during the Marineford Arc.

Fans can head on to the official website for the "One Piece" anime film for updates on the movie.
