It will definitely be a ritzy halftime show at the upcoming Super Bowl 50 as Coldplay alongside the two music royalties Beyonce and Rihanna, are set to have an epic performance.

Lead vocalist Chris Martin and the rest of his band, Coldplay, has recently been picked as headliners for NLF's 2016 Super Bowl 50 halftime show and will be the first band of its genre to be in the Super Bowl's halftime spotlight subsequent to The Who in 2010, as noted by E! Online.

The upcoming Super Bowl 50 is said to highlight "the past, the present and the future of music," according to the report. Hence, several talks fuse Beyonce and Rihanna's names as a guest performer.

According to News 24, Chris Martin has apparently asked the two music royalties to join the band's 12-minute slot amid the annual championship game of the National Football League.

An anonymous source has expressed that the British rock band is not normally as pompous compared to recent performers, for example, Katy Perry and Madonna; yet at the same time they reportedly wanted to bring a couple of surprises out for the audiences.

"Beyoncé and Rihanna are both keen to join in the high-profile ceremony and will add just the spark needed to make it an amazing and unforgettable show," the source further revealed.

Beyonce, on the other hand, has not authoritatively remarked whether the said reports are genuine or not.

Coldplay's upcoming Super Bowl performance will reportedly bolster their new album entitled "A Head Full of Dreams," where they collaborated with Beyonce on their two major singles "Hymn for the Weekend" and "Up & Up."

Hence, several reports have noted that the 34-year-old singer history with the band just infers that Beyonce could possibly perform her part to bolster album sales.

What's more, the singer additionally has an endorsement deal with Pepsi, a major sponsor of the event, adding further fuel to the rumor that Beyonce will surely show up.

"A Head Full of Dreams" studio album further features guest appearances by Rihanna, Noel Gallagher, Brian Eno, Avicci and Gwyneth Paltrow. Consequently, fans are speculating that any of these big names may appear as well, given the fact that the upcoming Super Bowl denotes its notable 50th commemoration.

The Super Bowl 50 is set to air on Feb. 7, 2016, from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California and is relied upon to be watched by more than 115 million individuals.
