One of the most anticipated Hollywood events is coming this Sunday and viewers can watch the 2016 Golden Globe Awards live stream here at 8 pm ET.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association celebrates the 73rd anniversary of the award-giving body that recognizes excellence in both television and movies.
British comedian Ricky Gervais, who hosted the show between 2010 and 2012, will take center stage again this year.
Other highlights of the event include a tribute to Denzel Washington, who will receive the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award. The 61-year-old actor has won two Golden Globe Awards for his performance in "Glory" and "The Hurricane."
Another actor that's been creating a buzz in the said event is Leonardo DiCaprio and fans can find out if he will win the Best Actor by tuning in at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards live stream on Sunday.
The Wrap thinks that the 41-year-old actor will bag his third award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for his exceptional performance in "The Revenant."
However, they think that Michael Fassbender, who headlined "Steve Jobs," should win the award.
Other nominees for the Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama category are Bryan Cranston for "Trumbo," Will Smith for "Concussion" and Eddie Redmayne for "The Danish Girl."
"The only thing that could stop two-time Globe winner Leonardo DiCaprio is a growing annoyance at the 'see how much he suffered!' campaign, which could help the eminently likeable Cranston," The Wrap wrote. "But Globe voters aren't all that annoyed, and they want Leo on their TV show."
TV Guide also shared their predictions for the 73rd Golden Globes. They think that Leo will win Best Actor but viewers should also watch out for Bryan. According to the website, it will be the upset of the night if the Hollywood superstar won't win because of his performance.
"He's exactly the big-time star that the Globes can't resist (he's won twice before), but most importantly, the world has agreed that it's finally his time to go all the way, now that he's dominated the Critics Awards, which he has never done before," TV Guide reported.
