Dakota Johnson suffered a wardrobe malfunction as she received the Favorite Dramatic Actress during the recent People's Choice awards
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" star attended the red carpet event without a boyfriend.The 26-year-old actress reportedly broke up with on-and-off boyfriend, rocker Matthew Hitt, late last year.
According to some reports, Dakota and Matthew split because of the craziness surrounding the "Fifty Shades of Grey," and the rocker reportedly felt that the movie has been interfering with their private lives.
Following the split, former flame Jake Gyllenhaal was also rumored to have rekindled the romance with Dakota although that rumor was quickly proven to be false.
But what caught everyone's attention during the awards ceremony was how Dakota's Armani Prive Couture dress suffered a wardrobe malfunction when she received the award. Presenter Leslie Man gave her a hug to protect her from onlookers, but she handled it like a seasoned pro.
"Leslie just broke my dress," she told the crowd, before quipping, "Well, it's not like nobody here hasn't already seen my boobs."
Dakota Johnson then went on to her speech, "Thank you so much, to the fans. This is really insane. I was just excited to even be nominated. You guys have completely rocked my world and changed my life. I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting our movie. Thank you to everyone at Universal, Sam Taylor-Johnson, E.L. James, Jamie Dornan. I couldn't have done it without you. That's it. I don't know. Bye. Thank you!"
