"The Sims 4" is getting a new DLC in the form of a new stuff pack that adds movie night-themed content to the game, among other things.
Last week, the game's official website announced the "Movie Hangout Stuff Pack" which "includes the stuff your Sims need to set the stage for a relaxing movie night."
The DLC adds the new movie projector screen, perfect for movie night. With it, Sims can reportedly watch original films from multiple genres including family movies.
The new item is perfect for watching with friends but if your Sim is the loner type, the developer said it's also possible to watch on TV.
Of course no movie is complete without popcorn. That said, the "Movie Hangout Stuff Pack" also includes a popcorn popper to make bowls of the popular movie snack, whether it's classic buttered, caramel, kettle or cheddar.
Other items the DLC brings are new decorations and furniture to deck your Sim's movie hangout.
"You can create a great indoor movie lounge, or take it outside and create a totally awesome bohemian atmosphere to watch movies in the breeze," the developer said.
As The Inquisitr pointed out, this is the fifth stuff pack to launch for "The Sims 4." It follows the game's second expansion pack, "Get Together" launched last month.
Veteran players know that the game's DLCs come in different flavors. Expansion packs offer the most content and gameplay changes and are often the most expensive. On the other hand, Stuff Packs bring a variety of new items to "The Sims 4." Game Packs are somewhere in between.
These allow players to truly customize and churn out unique creations to their liking, according to The Inquisitr.
