Charlie Hunnam and two of his former co-stars on "Sons of Anarchy" had a reunion in Las Vegas last week. The gathering happened amid continued rumors that a prequel for the series was in the works.

As told by the Vegas News, the 35-year-old English actor had dinner on Jan. 4 with co-star Chuck Zito and at the Andiamo Steakhouse along with its executive Richard Wilk. It was even cited that female fans of the actors went into frenzy upon the sighting.

The group, joined by a few more friends ate "caesar salads, crabcakes, porterhouse steaks and a couple of nice bottles of red wine," as reported by the Las Vegas Informer.

The Jax Teller actor even had a picture shot with their waiter, John.

According to the Las Vegas Sun, the group apparently also left a huge tip to their servers.

The next day, the actors were out and about on the strip once again this time with Christopher Douglas Reed joining the reunion. They dined at the D and played some cards with Wilk joining them as well.

Chuck Zito portrayed Frankie Diamonds on "Sons of Anarchy" in 2012, according to IMDB. Christopher Reed, on the other hand, played Philip "Filthy Phil" Russell for 36 episodes from 2010 to 2013. Their reunion with Charlie Hunnam happened amid rumors that a prequel of the FX network TV series was coming soon.

It was not mentioned if the prequel rumors had any part on their reunion.

Rumors that a spin-off to the TV series was underway first circulated back in September 2015 after creator Kurt Sutter shared his hopes to do a prequel.

"At some point I do have plans to hopefully do the prequel, which I do see as a one-off 10- or 12-episode thing where we begin in Nam and see John Teller and Piney and see how that relationship got created," Sutter told Deadline.

In an interview with Men's Journal a year ago, Charlie Hunnam has expressed that he "would love to see" a "Sons of Anarchy" prequel.
