Cast members Jessica Lange and Lady Gaga return to "AHS" season 6. Enough said.
The conclusion of "AHS: Hotel" has brought fans to a higher level of "American Horror Story" appreciation and it's not just that "Hotline Bling" walk-off with guns in tow. Previous reports have already revealed what "AHS" season 6 will be, and apart from casting, the two headliners going head-to-head is at the top of the list.
It was in August when Ryan Murphy confirmed that "AHS" season 6 has been ordered and will be coming for fans. A report by EW revealed "AHS" showrunner himself sharing details of season 6. Apart from cast details, Murphy shared that, "We're doing something that we've never done before on the show where we're doing two different groups of writers rooms."
"Some of our writers will be bouncing around but a whole different group coming in late August. The next thing we're crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark," added the "AHS" showrunner.
Meanwhile, it has recently been confirmed by Screenrant that "AHS" season 6 will be coming in two time periods. FX boss John Landgraf revealed that, "It's set in two time periods, but principally in the present. Ryan [Murphy] will kill me if I tease anything [else]."
What's more interesting is that coming from "AHS: Hotel" where cast member Jessica Lange took a leave from the season and was replaced by Lady Gaga, it seems that the two time periods may well suit the two headliners of the anthology series. While this remains to be confirmed, it could be a possibility since Lady Gaga has expressed how pleased she was to be part of the "AHS" cast.
A report by MoviePilot has also listed Jessica Lange and Lady Gaga as the top two cast members in the wishlist to return to "AHS" season 6. Hopefully, the horror gods led by Ryan Murphy are listening.
