The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 28 preview trailer has been released, showing Beerus and Champa.
Design&Trend reported that Beerus and Champa will be getting "some semi-serious combat with each other" in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 28. The publication noted that this could only mean more interesting action will await fans in the series' upcoming "Champa" arc.
The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 28 trailer opened with Gods of Destruction Champa and Beerus powering up their energy blasts. Meanwhile, Vados enjoying a cup of tea as she watched what was happening around her.
The next scenes showed Vegeta and Goku wearing padded costumes. Beerus and Champa sparred and exchanged blows with each other.
The two Super Saiyans looked apprehensive as they witnessed the fight. It seemed like the Gods of Destruction's fight emitted enough power to destroy the training room.
According to the publication, "Dragon Ball Super" "Champa" saga, which will begin in episode 28, will introduce Universe Six. This is a mirror universe to Beerus, Goku and Vegeta's Universe Seven.
International Business Times commented that the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 28 trailer revealed that Champa is the God of Destruction of Universe Six.
The upcoming arc will see Beerus and Champa in a Tenkaichi Budokai-esque tournament with their best fighters. If Beerus and his fighters win, Champa will give him all except one of the Super Dragon Balls.
However, if Champa wins the tournament, the Universe Seven God of Destruction will have to switch Earths with him so that Champa can enjoy the food.
It was previously reported that Team Champa will consist of Hito, Kyabe, Frost, Botamo and Magnetta. Moreover, a character named Zuno will purportedly have his own assistant.
Gojiitaaf posted images of the characters. Frost seems modeled after Frieza while Kyabe looks like a Saiyan. Botamo is the yellow bear character and Magetta is the robot.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 28 will be aired on Jan. 23, 2016, Sunday.
