Apple MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date Set In June As Confirmed By Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo

The year 2016 will be a "big year" for the Apple MacBook lineup and it the upcoming upgrades will provide a "bright spot" for the tech titan this year according to a reliable analyst.

Ming-Chi Kuo, a Chinese analyst from the KGI Securities, believes that with the new MacBook lineup coming this year, Apple is surely getting a boost in terms of growth. According to Kuo, sales will accelerate with the upcoming upgrades and Apple's notebook lineup will continue to pose a "solid growth" in the enterprise markets.

These forecasts contained in Ming-Chi Kuo's note to investors on Sunday was summarized in Apple Insider, where it mentioned that the analyst confirms that the new laptops, including the Apple MacBook Pro 2016, will be arriving by June, more specifically during the Worldwide Developers Conference.

Kuo further said that the release if the newly upgraded MacBook models will be will be greatly benefiting Apple suppliers SZS and Casetek.

The report from Apple Insider also discussed that the tech titan might be waiting on new Skylake processors from Intel, which has long been rumored to be one of the major upgrades to be integrated in the new MacBook Pro 2016 and other new laptops.

According to the report, Skylake processors will boost CPU speeds by 10 to 20 percent. It will also improve integrated graphics chips performance by 16 to 41 percent and will add as much as 30 percent more battery life, with a more efficient power use because of a smaller 14-nanometer architecture.

9 to 5 Mac also adds in its report that Skylake will be incorporating a couple of new wireless communication standards including WiDi or Wireless Display and WiGig, a short-range high-speed wireless data of up to 7gbps.

While it may not be available during the June launch, Skylake is also working on a future version of the chip that supports wireless charging, which according to the report, may influence Apple's decision on future monitors and accessories like wireless Thunderbolt Display and external drives.
