Following Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo's exit in "NCIS" at the end of Season 13, two new cast members are reportedly joining the drama series, including a tough female agent named Tess.

TVLine confirmed in its report that "NCIS" is adding two series regulars, both of whom will be introduced at the finale of Season 13.

The most watched TV drama in CBS will be introducing Tess-"an FBI Special Agent in her late 30's who has recently transferred to D.C. from New York City's Counter-Terrorism Unit.

In the tentative casting breakdown, Tess is described as "quick-witted, sarcastic, shrewd" and "two parts bulldog, one part sweet kitten."

TVLine added that "the G-woman can just as easily keep up with a group of politicians talking at a black-tie fundraiser as she can truck drivers at a roadside diner." Sleep and sex are overrated for Tess, but she would love a good martini and a rare bacon cheeseburger.

TVLine further wrote, "A three-time divorcee (because the husbands apparently 'can't keep up with her') who has no children, Tess is content acting as 'Mamma Bear' to any co-worker who needs a shoulder to lean on. Just don't make her angry, because that's when she tends to ruffle even her superiors' feathers."

The question now is: Who is playing Tess?

Buddy TV came up with a shortlist of actresses who can definitely fill-in and kill the role of Tess.

First is "Chuck" star Yvonne Strahovski, who according to Buddy TV, is not new to playing a government agent. She has also starred in "24: Live Another Day." She might only be younger than Tess but she surely can make the exception.

Second is "Person of Interest" lead actress Amy Acker. Following rumors that "Person of Interest" is ending, this may be an opportunity for Amy Acker to jump from one CBS drama to another. The report described Amy Acker as a chameleon of an actress.

Next is Angie Harmon, who was picked up by Buddy TV from an "NCIS" Facebook discussion. Angie Harmon definitely has the grit, the charm and the heart to portray Tess.

Other actresses pointed out by the shortlist are Eliza Dushku, Katee Sackhoff, Maggie Q, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Summer Glau.
