While 2016 is predicted to be a great year for the gaming world, it apparently does not include Square Enix's highly anticipated "Kingdom Hearts 3." Previous reports have already pointed out the possible release date of the game and while no official comment from the developers, it seems 2017 could be the year for "Kingdom Hearts 3."
Initially, the 2016 release date was connected to "Kingdom Hearts 3" pre-order details which revealed that PS4 and Xbox One availabilities. However, such reports pointed towards pre-order details beginning last year to prepare for a 2016 release date. However, no such pre-ordering was opened, and so the speculation of when fans get to see the newest "Kingdom Hearts 3" characters continue.
Square Enix remains focused on development and fans remain on the look-out for the release date announcement of "Kingdom Hearts 3." Definitely, Sora's new adventure is not ready but remains to progress in terms of development. "We are prioritizing the creation of new worlds in ['Kingdom Hearts 3'], and we would have to consider the reveal timing of those worlds, making sure that we discuss with Disney," revealed Square Enix.
"That opening scene is very versatile, since it doesn't involve those new worlds, plus it's a great asset to use as a prologue to build up excitement towards KH3. Also, the scenes that we have currently have released is not the final product so please look forward to any changes that we may make in the future as well," it added.
Meanwhile, apart from "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date details, character updates have also reached fans worldwide. The latest character speculation for "Kingdom Hearts 3" is said to be none other than Winnie the Pooh. According to DesignNTrend, the voice actor behind the Disney character has confirmed working on "Kingdom Hearts 3" but has no idea when the release date will be. That's still better than nothing.
